University of Missouri President Resigns After Racism Protests

I don’t blame him for his decision. You should not work somewhere if you are not respected or accepted by majority. He made the right decision before his actions got the best of him for holding on longer than he could. Please be aware that “Staff” (setaff) was misspelled within his quoted words. “My decision to resign comes out of love, not hate,” he said

Whats better than Subway when you’re hungry and on a budget? A footlong sandwich, chips and a drink for $7.75! Or you can simply get the popular “$5 FOOTLONG!”

Rumor has it that Subway don’t actually provide customers with foot long sandwiches as they are promised in the advertisement. In 2013, Matt Corby had Facebook going b-a-n-a-n-a-s! He posted his footlong sandwich he had just purchased to a Subway Facebook page in Australia asking why his sub was actually 11 inches long. Not long after, others began inundating Facebook with their lacking-in-length sandwiches for a valid explanation.

There are two things people just don’t play about. “Their money and their food!” Luckily Subway was professional enough to respond to the crisis.

Subway Australia responded to Corby’s question and said that the bread “was not baked to our standards,” but then added: “With r”For 47 years, customer satisfaction has been our top priority. We regret any instance where we did not fully deliver on our promise to our customers. We freshly bake our bread throughout the day in our more than 38,000 restaurants in 100 countries worldwide, and we have redoubled our efforts to ensure consistency and correct length in every sandwich we serve. Our commitment remains steadfast to ensure that every SUBWAY Footlong sandwich is 12 inches at each location worldwide.”Regards to the size of the bread and calling it a footlong, ‘SUBWAY FOOTLONG’ is a registered trademark as a descriptive name for the sub sold in Subway Restaurants and not intended to be a measurement of length,” adding that the length of each bread cannot be assured each time as the “proofing” process may vary.

People continued to harass Subway until they gave them what they wanted to hear. They were the topic of chain ads for sometime. They also had people like Stephen Colbert calling the crisis “Corporate Scamwich.”

Shortly after, they were faced with a lawsuit from New Jersey that specified they either stop advertising them as footlongs or ensure they actually measure that length.

However, they did not comment on the lawsuit but they did put out the following statement:

“For 47 years, customer satisfaction has been our top priority. We regret any instance where we did not fully deliver on our promise to our customers. We freshly bake our bread throughout the day in our more than 38,000 restaurants in 100 countries worldwide, and we have redoubled our efforts to ensure consistency and correct length in every sandwich we serve. Our commitment remains steadfast to ensure that every SUBWAY Footlong sandwich is 12 inches at each location worldwide.”
